My Little Pony Fantasy Wonderland Top Chase Cards (BP01)

Fantasy Wonderland (BP01) is the set most new Australian collectors open first and it has one of the clearest chase structures in the Kayou My Little Pony range. Every genuine chase in this set carries a ※ symbol next to its rarity code, that mark means Shining: alternate artwork, upgraded finishes and the cards everyone is actually hunting.
Three Shining tiers make up the real chase list. Below is every card in all three with the pull rates that tell you how hard each one is to find.
How the chase tiers rank
| Tier | Cards in set | Pull rate | Realistically |
|---|---|---|---|
| ※ Shining Ruby Rare | 6 | 1:640 packs | 1 per sealed case |
| ※ Shining Colorful Rare | 12 | 1:160 packs | 1 per 8 boxes |
| ※ Shining Gold Rare | 6 | 1:20 packs | 1 guaranteed per box |
One quick warning before you go hunting: Shining cards share their card numbers with the ordinary versions. ※BP01-CR01 Twilight Sparkle and BP01-CR01 Twilight Sparkle are two completely different cards with the same code. The ※ on the card face is the only way to tell them apart.
※ Shining Ruby Rare: the top chase
One card per sealed master case. Six exist and you don't get to choose which one you find.
The Ruby Rares are also the only chase tier in BP01 with no gameplay text at all. No cost, no power, no effect box. They're pure full-art inside an ornate art-nouveau frame with a gem at the crown and each one carries the artist's signature in the artwork. That's what makes them the collector tier rather than the player tier.

※BP01-RR01 Twilight Sparkle. Reading a glowing spellbook beneath a burst of starlight, Ponyville rooftops below.

※BP01-RR02 Fluttershy. A night-sky scene with birds perched on her wings, butterflies and tropical foliage framing the edges.

※BP01-RR03 Pinkie Pie. Bursting out of a giant cake in bold comic-book linework. The most stylistically distinct card in the tier by a distance.

※BP01-RR04 Applejack. Mid-leap through swirling autumn leaves with Sweet Apple Acres and Canterlot behind her.

※BP01-RR05 Rainbow Dash. Climbing out of a rainbow vortex mid-sonic-rainboom.

※BP01-RR06 Rarity. Iridescent crystals, a hand mirror and a gemstone necklace in soft pastel foil.
※ Shining Colorful Rare: the middle chase
Twelve cards at roughly one per eight boxes. Unlike the Ruby Rares these are playable cards with full effect text, cost and power values.
The twelve split into two themes. CR01 to CR06 show each of the Mane Six packing for or setting out on a journey, with luggage, maps and saddlebags. CR07 to CR12 return them to their everyday settings, echoing the artwork from the Friendships Begin starter decks.
The journey half

※BP01-CR01 Twilight Sparkle. Levitating a packing list while Spike wrestles a scroll, luggage stacked around them.

※BP01-CR02 Fluttershy. Drifting through a canopy of butterflies and flowering branches.

※BP01-CR03 Pinkie Pie. Studying a map with the party cannon packed and ready behind her.

※BP01-CR04 Applejack. Cresting a dirt path with the road ahead of her.

※BP01-CR05 Rainbow Dash. Trailing a rainbow with a map and compass in hoof.

※BP01-CR06 Rarity. Surrounded by suitcases and a garment bag, packing exactly as much as you'd expect.
The everyday half

※BP01-CR07 Twilight Sparkle. Mid-study in the library with books floating around her.

※BP01-CR08 Fluttershy. A pastel meadow scene thick with butterflies.

※BP01-CR09 Pinkie Pie. Floating up on a bundle of balloons.

※BP01-CR10 Applejack. A one-hoofed handstand in the orchard, apples raining down.

※BP01-CR11 Rainbow Dash. Cutting across a sunset sky above the mountains.

※BP01-CR12 Rarity. Reclining with a fashion magazine and a cold drink, entirely in character.
※ Shining Gold Rare: one guaranteed in every box
Six cards, pulling at one in twenty packs, which means a sealed box guarantees you one. You just don't get to pick which. Gold Rares use heavy 3D foil stamping and premium textures and they're the best-looking card most openers will ever pull from this set.

※BP01-GR01 Twilight Sparkle. A fireworks lesson going badly wrong, Spike singed and unimpressed beside her.

※BP01-GR02 Fluttershy. Watering the garden with Angel and the birdhouses around her.

※BP01-GR03 Pinkie Pie. Launching off the party cannon in a spray of confetti.

※BP01-GR04 Applejack. Fresh apple pie in the farmhouse kitchen.

※BP01-GR05 Rainbow Dash. Threading a golden ring mid-flight. The highest cost and power in the tier.

※BP01-GR06 Rarity. At the sewing machine in her red work glasses, mid-commission.
Which chase should you actually go for?
Opening one box? Your ※GR is guaranteed, so that's your trophy. Two Gold Rares and a Ruby Rare come with it.
Building a set? The ※CR twelve is the most achievable complete Shining tier. At one per eight boxes it's a long project but it's a finishable one.
Opening a case? The ※RR is the whole reason to do it. One card, six possibilities, no way to influence the outcome.
The sleeper: ※RR03 Pinkie Pie. The comic-style linework makes it the odd one out in a tier of soft pastel art and distinctive cards tend to hold attention longer than pretty ones.

Protecting a chase pull
Penny sleeve straight away, then a toploader or semi-rigid holder. The Shining foils scratch easily, so tilt the card to see the effect rather than running a thumb across the face. If you're submitting to PSA or CGC, semi-rigid holders are what graders want.
