Kayou Naruto Cards vs the Bandai Naruto Card Game (TCG)
Search for "Naruto TCG" or "Naruto card game" and you'll find two very different products. Kayou Naruto cards are collectible cards: you open packs, chase rarities and display your pulls, with no decks or rules. They're available in Australia now.
Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME is a separate, competitive trading card game with deck building and organised play, from the publisher behind the One Piece Card Game. It was announced in 2026 and is planned for a worldwide release in 2027, so it isn't on shelves yet.

The Three Product Lines: Smriti, JIN Chapter and Ninja Age
Naruto Smriti (Silver and Gold Series)
Smriti is KAYOU's entry-level Naruto line and it comes in two formats. The Silver Series boxes hold 30 packs, making them an accessible starting point with more cards per box and lower cost per pull. The US-exclusive Gold Series boxes hold 20 packs of 8 cards, and about one in five packs is a Type A pack with 2 SSRs and a UR inside.
The Earth Scroll sub-series is the most widely available in Australia. Series 01 covers early Naruto characters; Series 2 introduces the "Awaken the Fifth Hokage" theme featuring Tsunade, Jiraiya, Itachi and Sasuke Uchiha. Series 1 comes as both a Silver Series box and a Gold Booster Box, and Series 2 also comes in a US-exclusive 5-pack Collector Box.
Naruto JIN Chapter (Platinum Series)
JIN Chapter is the premium line. Fewer packs per box (10 vs 30), but every pack holds a PTR and at least one SR, with a significantly higher concentration of rare pulls, more elaborate foil treatments and a deep rarity structure. The line works through the anime arc by arc: Series 1 covers the Land of Waves Arc, Series 2 moves into the Chunin Exams. If you're a serious collector chasing top-tier pulls, Platinum is the format to prioritise.
Naruto Ninja Age (Premium Collector Box)
Ninja Age sits above both. It's a premium collector box in the English US edition, built around KAYOU's heaviest card treatments. It's the box we stock for serialised chase cards: individually numbered, so the card itself tells you exactly how few exist. Other KAYOU sets include serialised cards, but Ninja Age has the best of them. If Smriti is about volume and JIN Chapter is about odds, Ninja Age is about owning the best cards in the line.

KAYOU Naruto Rarity Tiers
Smriti Earth Scroll uses eight rarities: R (Rare), SR (Super Rare), SSR (Super Spark Rare), UR (Ultra Rare), AR (Amber Rare), MR (Miracle Rare), SP (Special) and CR (Creative Rare). Series 2 swaps SP for ◇UR (Diamond Ultra Rare). The UR, CR and SP cards are the ones collectors are chasing. JIN Chapter runs its own, longer ladder: Series 1 has ten tiers (R, SR, SSR, PTR, UR, PU, MR, BP, SP and SE) and Series 2 adds AR on top for eleven. Ninja Age goes a step further again with serialised cards, where the print run is numbered on the card itself.

Worth knowing: the NA and SEA Earth Scroll Series 1 boxes share exactly the same card list, so choosing between them comes down to pack format rather than which cards you can pull.
Keep in mind that KAYOU works out these ratios across its whole print run, not box by box. Your box might land a little above or below them and doubles are part of the fun. The top tiers (SE, SP, CR and the like) aren't guaranteed in any of these boxes, so every one of those is a genuine pull.

The American-exclusive English edition of Earth Scroll Series 1. It covers the Chunin Exams and the invasion of the Hidden Leaf, with Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Gaara, Rock Lee and Orochimaru among the cast. You get 20 packs of 8 cards, so 160 cards per box.
The set runs 131 card types across 8 rarities (R, SR, SSR, UR, AR, MR, SP and CR) and each tier has its own art style, from Story Recap scenes and Ukiyo-e battle art through to Tarot designs. About one in five packs is a Type A pack with 2 SSRs and a UR inside.

Naruto JIN Chapter Series 1 (Platinum Series, SEA, 10 Packs)
The SEA edition that opens the JIN Chapter line, themed "Re-witnessing the Road to Ninja". Series 1 covers the Land of Waves Arc (TV episodes 1 to 19) across 158 card types and 10 rarity levels. Ten packs per box, five cards per pack, 50 cards total.
The rarity structure here is where Series 1 earns its place. SE cards use ukiyo-e inspired faces for intermission-style scenes. SP debuts a stained-glass treatment with layered foreground and background effects. BP is built around each character's ideal dreams at their key story moments and MR pairs characters with their matching constellations. PU is brand new to the line: custom UIs with gold-stamped signatures, designed to read like a letter from another version of yourself. Naruto Ninja Age Premium Collector Box (English US Edition)
The top of the KAYOU Naruto range and the box we stock for serialised chase cards: individually numbered, so you can see exactly how few of that card were ever printed. Serial numbering is the closest thing collectible cards have to a guarantee of scarcity, which is why serialised cards hold value differently to standard chase cards. Other KAYOU sets have them, but the Ninja Age serialised cards are the best in the Naruto line.
